the most exceptional trees thriving in the alpine region. Its natural habitat ranges from elevations between 1300 and 2300 meters above sea level, where it withstands challenging winter conditions, including harsh winds, thick snow blankets, and temperatures that can drop as low as -50°C. Due to these extreme living conditions, Swiss stone pine is a tree with an exceptionally slow growth rate, contributing to its longevity; it is not uncommon for mature trees to count between two to four centuries.

History and modern studies have revealed many positive attributes of Swiss stone pine that extend far beyond its basic function in the ecosystem. One of the most noticeable characteristics of Swiss stone pine is its scent, caused by pinosilvin. This natural component has multifaceted effects on human well-being and health:

Calming Effect

The scent of Swiss stone pine has an extremely relaxing effect on the human body. During sleep, it can reduce heart rate by approximately 3,500 beats per night, equating to one less hour of work for the heart every day.

Regeneration

Its properties assist the body in better and faster regeneration, particularly beneficial after physical and mental exertion.

Enhanced Immunity

Regular exposure to the scent of Swiss stone pine can strengthen the immune system, increasing the body's resistance to various diseases.

Reduced Sensitivity to Weather Changes

People frequently exposed to this scent report decreased sensitivity to weather changes.

Antibacterial and Biocidal Properties

Swiss stone pine naturally repels pests such as moths and mites and also acts against bacteria.

Relief for Allergy Sufferers

For individuals suffering from allergies, its fresh and cleansing scent can provide relief from respiratory issues.

Overall Well-being

Regular exposure to this scent can have a positive impact on general mood and well-being.

Research conducted at the Austrian institute Joanneum Research in Graz and the University of Salzburg focused on comparing the impact of using products made from Swiss stone pine wood in domestic settings compared to conventional materials. The results of these studies, obtained using advanced measurement technology, were remarkable: the use of Swiss stone pine wood products led to improvements in body regeneration and sleep quality. Individuals who tested Swiss stone pine wood products reported faster and more effective regeneration and improved sleep quality.

In considering long-term effects, the research showed that the use of Swiss stone pine wood products in domestic settings could lead to a reduction in heart rate by approximately 3,500 beats per day, equivalent to approximately 60 minutes less heart workload daily.

The study also revealed that participants reported significantly improved overall well-being and feelings of happiness when using Swiss stone pine wood products in their homes. This indicates broader positive effects that this natural material can have on individuals' quality of life.

Swiss stone pine is particularly recommended for allergy sufferers, as it has antibacterial properties, prevents mold and fungal growth, and acts as a biocide, deterring mites and moths.

In an experiment where moth larvae were placed in closets, after 15 weeks, Swiss stone pine closets showed a 48% reduction in the number of moths compared to regular closets, demonstrating its biocidal effect.

Swiss stone pine is also valued in Slovenia for its beauty and the benefits it brings. Despite not being a native indigenous species, it has become popular among foresters and nature lovers alike. Its prevalence in Slovenian forests, especially in highlands, offers opportunities to harness its positive qualities to improve living standards. This, in turn, opens up opportunities for sustainable use and conservation of Swiss stone pine forests and the preservation of natural heritage.

     TO THE STORE!

Swiss stone pine Swiss stone pine or locally revered as the “King of the Alps” (German König der Alpen), represents

["post-10109","page","type-page","status-publish","hentry
["GET
